I just had a really neat thought. It regards the perception of college as the place where you challenge the view you were brought up with. Seems like alot of people, when they think of college, have flash-backs to the sixties. That's not what colleges look like today. Few people today leave college with a radicaly different outlook than they entered it with. In fact, college probably solidifies and further defines whatever outlook you had before. The time to rebel and 'find yourself' today is in high school, but teenagers are too inexperienced to do it properly. College is where you learn exactly what side you're on, not where you hop the fence.
